August Gym News

As the summer begins to wind down, it is time to start getting back into the swing of things. It doesn’t seem like it, but a new school year is just a few weeks away. I hope you have all had a great & safe summer. Here at the gym, we are gearing up for a fresh new fall season. Here are a few things we need you to know about...

August Tuition will charge Today – Just a reminder that if your tuition does not process you will have until the 5th to clear up your account before we drop your student from their classes.

Late Arrivals – It is very important that your child/ren be on time to class. The class begins with stretching and a warm-up that is imperative to their muscle development. Without stretching, there is a higher rate of injury. If you are later than 10 minutes you will not be permitted to attend class that night and will need to schedule a make-up.  It is very important for their muscle safety to warm up first.

Safety - To keep your child safe during practice please stay in the bleachers and watch from a distance. Please do not try coaching your child and/or communicating with them while practice is in session. This can cause your child to become distracted, lose focus, and possibly get injured. We will not allow interference with our coaching. If you have any questions or concerns, please talk to the coach at the appropriate time. Also, if you have small children, they ABSOLUTELY MUST stay in the bleachers with you. They cannot for any reason be on the equipment unattended in the gym due to safety reasons. If you need to leave the gym during your child’s practice, that is perfectly fine, but please be on time when picking them up after class. We’re not babysitters and cannot be responsible for your child after practice has concluded.

Birthday Party – Have you heard about our birthday parties? Our parties are super fun and hassle free! Our goal is to handle everything so that you can be a guest at your own party! We have two themes to choose from Gymnastics or Nerf Wars for ages 4 and up. Stop by the front desk and reserve your slot for your birthday party.

Annual Staff Trainings – Our staff completed our Annual CPR/First Aid training last weekend. We now have 10 of our staff fully certified. We have some of our staff that will be traveling to Austin over Labor Day weekend to the Gymnastics Associational Training. This is a 16-hour Instructor Training Program that our staff will participate in for their designated area they teach. They will receive their yearly certifications and spend a day in lectures and then then next day getting hands on experience from some of the best clinicians in our industry. The gym will be closed from Friday, Sept 2nd – Monday, Sept 5th to allow for them to get the necessary training they need this year.

Super Saturdays are RETURNING - Join us on Saturday, September 17th 6-10pm for a Super fun Nerf Party! Your kids will not want to miss this evening! We will provide dinner and a fun dessert! Don’t forget to sign-up in the office for this Super Fun night! The cost is $25 for members $15 for every child after, $30 at the door if you do not sign up in advance and for non-members.
