Back to School Gym News
The school year is back in session, and you all are hopefully settling into a new routine. Here at the gym, we are gearing up for a fresh new fall season as well. Here are a few things we need you to know about...
Another Beginning – It was five years ago this month that we built and opened Irving Gymnastics. We have worked hard over the years to always provide you with the best coaching, a variety of classes and the cleanest gym in town! Not only myself, but our coaching staff truly love what they do and are so glad that we get to share our passion for gymnastics with your children. As we overcame the Covid era and began to grow our programs again, it became clear that we were going to need to expand. I have spent the last year in prayer as to what direction we needed to go in order to continue to bring you all the great programs we currently offer, but on a larger scale. With much excitement, I can tell you all that as of Monday, August 21st we will officially close on our New Preschool Gym. The gym will be in the same shopping center, but just across the street in the strip center to the right of us. This new gym will be specifically for our 0-5 year olds. It will be right at 3,000 square feet and will have a separate waiting area for the parents to be able to sit and watch the kids in the gym area. Fingers crossed we will be able to open by October! We have a lot to get done in a short amount of time, so keep us in your prayers as we navigate all that comes with opening a new gym. I cannot wait to share it with you all.
Tuition Reminder - Tuition is run on the 1st of every month from the card you have on file. If during the month you get a new card, please log into your account, and make the change, or stop by the front desk and our staff can help you get it updated. We do not offer refunds on tuition once it has already been processed. If you need to make changes to your account, they must be done before the 1st of the month. Your tuition must be current by the 5th of the month for your student to stay enrolled in the classes.
Late Arrivals – It is very important that your child/ren be on time for class. The class begins with stretching and a warm-up that is imperative to their muscle development. Without stretching, there is a higher rate of injury. If you are later than 10 minutes you will not be permitted to attend class that night, and a make-up token will be generated at the conclusion of the missed class and sent via email.
Safety - To keep your child safe during practice please stay in the bleachers and watch from a distance. Please do not try coaching your child and/or communicating with them while practice is in session. This can cause your child to become distracted, lose focus, and possibly get injured. We will not allow interference with our coaching. If you have any questions or concerns, please talk to the coach at an appropriate time. Also, if you have small children, they ABSOLUTELY MUST stay in the bleachers with you. They cannot for any reason be on the equipment unattended in the gym for safety reasons. If you need to leave the gym during your child’s practice, that is perfectly fine, but please be on time when picking them up after class. We’re not babysitters and cannot be responsible for your child after practice has concluded.
