January News

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a safe New Years. We are working really behind-the-scenes this Holiday break to make some fun changes in the gym that I cannot wait for you all to see. I know not all of you are currently in our program or may not have been for several years, but I wanted to share all the new things coming in the new year with you, in case you were thinking about returning. Especially for some of our older previous gymnast we have a great Leadership Program starting that will be awesome!

6:00pm Classes - Beginning this coming Monday, January 4th our GIRLS ONLY 6:20pm classes will GO BACK TO 6:00pm. So please make note of this so you are not late. ALL 6:20pm classes for GIRLS ONLY will be at 6:00pm. This is the schedule we had back in March before we closed, and we are going back to it beginning in the New Year.

7:00pm Classes – We are adding a 7:00pm Preschool, Hotshots & Girls Rec class for Girls on Wednesday & Thursday beginning next week. So, if you cannot make the 6:00pm class, we can move your girls into the class. Just let us know via e-mail or at the front desk that you wish to switch.

Saturday Classes – Beginning Saturday, January 9th our Saturday classes will start up again. We will offer a 9:00am – Mommy & Me Class; 10:00am Preschool & Girls Rec and then an 11:00am Hotshots and Girls Rec Classes. If you want to move to or add a Saturday Class, please let me know.

Ninja Upgrade – Were going “Old school” and are adding a new Ninja area that, once its completed, will be absolutely awesome. We are currently building stage 1 as we speak and should have it finished and ready for our ninjas on Monday (Lord willing). This will allow the ninjas to have more access room in the big gym, as well as a cool strength training and conditioning wall! We are also adding Monday Classes to the Schedule as well, since have the classes up by age to better serve the kids in the program. Your boys can now attend classes 4 days a week!

Super Saturdays are BACK!! – We are so excited to begin hosting Super Saturdays again. Jammies in January, our “Pajama Party”, will be on January 16th from 6:00-10:00pm. Come dressed in your favorite pajamas, bring your favorite pillow and a cozy blanket, and hang with us for the night. We will serve pizza for dinner and then have popcorn and a movie. The cost for members is $25 for the 1st child and $20 for every child after. The cost for Non-members is $30 per child.

Pre-Team begins in February – Our new Pre-team classes will begin starting in February. This class is an entry-level class to the team program. This class is in no way a guarantee that your child will make the team, but it will give them an idea of what team will be like. This class is 4 hours a week and the tuition is $200 a month. The class will be on Wednesdays from 5:00-7:00pm and Sunday evenings from 4:30-6:30pm. Coach Shelly will be coaching this class, so if you feel your child would be a fit for this class, please let her know. Team Try-outs are in May, and anyone can try-out for our team program.

Birthday Parties are BACK – We are so excited to announce that we will start booking in January. Our parties are super fun and hassle free. Our goal is to handle everything so that you can sit back and be a guest at your own party.  We offer several different party options that are both loads of fun for the whole family. Our age-appropriate parties are either 1.5 hours or 2 hours of pure fun! Check out our website for more information and give us a call to get your birthday on the calendar. Anyone booking in January with a deposit will get a credit for an upcoming Super Saturday. That is a $25 value!

CIT – Coaches in Training Program - This class is designed for students ages 13-15. In this program, students will receive one hour of gymnastics per week, as well as a leadership development class and the opportunity to shadow our coaches in their own classes. These students will be able to develop the skills needed to be future class coaches, all while receiving gymnastics training of their own. This class is perfect for young teens who dream of being a gymnastics coach, or just teens who want to learn what it means to be a leader. If this is something your daughter or son would be interested in, please see Mrs. Shelly.

Make-up Classes – Many of you have asked about make-up classes and how they work. Every time your child is marked absent you will automatically be sent an email with a “token”. You can click on the link in the email, log-in to your online account and schedule a make-up class in any open class we have available for up to 60 days.

I know this last year has been hard for everybody and it has affected everyone differently. I could have never imagined the year would turn out like it did. It was a year that pushed me to my limits and the some! Our industry as a whole has been severely impacted by this pandemic. I am so blessed that we have been able to reopen the gym and are able to get back to doing what we love. Myself and our staff are so grateful that you all have chosen us to be able to share our love of gymnastics with your children as there is so much more that we teach than just gymnastics! We are looking forward to growing and making this year our year to shine!
