Ages 5 & Up

Irving Gymnastics and Sweet Peas Tumbling program offers entry-level and advanced Tumbling classes for children ages 5 & up. Tumbling classes focus on Trampoline and spring floor skills. This is an excellent program for cheerleaders and dancers to get their acro skills for game day and competitions!

Tumble I

Ages 6-7 & 8 & Up

• These entry-level classes introduce students to beginner tumbling skills that require timing and flexibility, while also building their strength for higher-level skills. Students must perform a specific Tumbling sequence to level up to Tumble II

Tumble II

Age 7 & up

• These intermediate classes are for athletes who have some tumbling experience and can perform the tumbling passes we train towards in the novice class and are ready to focus on more power-focused skills like handsprings, flips, and connected passes.

Tumble III

Age 7 & up

• This advanced tumbling class is for the experienced and strong tumbler who wants to train advanced salto skills. Some of the skills athletes will begin training or continue honing include advanced skills such as tucks, layouts, twists, and whips.
• Students must be recommended to this class through a coach evaluation. Students are required to attend and pass an Irving Gymnastics Tumble II class to be evaluated for Tumble III.

We recommend everyone start with an age appropriate Tumbling Peas or Tumble I class regardless of their experience to be evaluated, but if your child has substantial experience and you would like them to try the Tumble II class, then shoot us an email and we will get back to you ASAP!
